Well, I'm going to start by saying that the treble clef there is probably the worst one I've ever drawn!
About the poem. This is sort of my impression of music. Shakespeare fans, like myself, or people who were forced to read Shakespeare in High School, may notice the obvious allusion (I pretty much quoted it) to Twelfth Night Act 1, Scene 1 (Duke Orsino's lament).
I'm probably the least musical person I know but I've always had such an affinity to music. I place musicians (whether they be amateur or professional) on a pedestal. I've always, to a point, envied those who could make music because usually they have such great promise but they squander it to do a common job whereas I have always wanted to be able to wield music but I've never had the talent.
Anyway, that was sort of... dwelling...
